Study Nursing in Romania

With Vincix Futuro, you can undertake a three-year university degree in Nursing at a Romanian university accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education.
After completing the programme and passing all the required examinations, the university awards the Romanian professional qualification of Asistent Medical Generalist – General Medical Nurse.
The qualification is awarded in an EU Member State and may be submitted to the relevant professional authority in the country where the graduate intends to work.
Applicants wishing to practise in the United Kingdom must apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and satisfy its current requirements concerning qualifications, professional training, English-language proficiency, health, character and professional competence.
Programme structure
The Nursing degree lasts three academic years and includes:
- theoretical university studies;
- university examinations;
- practical training and supervised clinical placements;
- a final degree examination.
All academic activities are organised in accordance with the university's curriculum, regulations and official timetable.
Any online teaching and attendance arrangements are determined exclusively by the university. Clinical training must be completed at healthcare facilities approved or recognised by the university and in accordance with the minimum training requirements established for the Nursing programme.
This pathway is intended for students who wish to obtain a European nursing qualification while receiving administrative, academic, linguistic and logistical support throughout their studies.

Assessment of previous studies
Applicants who have already completed relevant university studies may submit their academic records to the Romanian university for assessment.

- official transcripts;
- course syllabuses;
- study hours and academic credits;
- theoretical and clinical content;
- the compatibility of the previous studies with the Romanian Nursing curriculum.
Professional registration after graduation
After completing the degree, graduates may apply for professional registration in Romania and, where applicable, submit their qualification for recognition in another country.
For applicants wishing to work in the United Kingdom, the competent authority is the Nursing and Midwifery Council. The NMC independently evaluates each application and may request:
- proof of identity;
- the final nursing qualification;
- an official transcript and detailed training records;
- evidence of theoretical and clinical training hours;
- professional registration or good-standing documents;
- evidence of English-language proficiency;
- health and character declarations;
- any additional assessment or documentation required under the rules in force at the time of application.

Documents generally required
Applicants are normally asked to provide:
- an upper-secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification;
- an academic transcript or list of subjects studied, where required;
- a full birth certificate showing the parents' names;
- a valid passport or identity document;
- proof of residence, where required;
- a medical certificate;
- passport-style photographs;
- official documents relating to any previous university studies;
- certified translations and legalisation or Apostille, where applicable.
The final list of documents and admission formalities is determined by the university and the competent Romanian authorities.
