The Romanian university programme in Asistență de Profilaxie Stomatologică prepares professionals specialising in dental hygiene, oral disease prevention and patient health education.
The programme is delivered by a recognised Romanian university and leads to a first-cycle university degree.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
- Duration: 3 academic years
- Credits: 180 ECTS
- Qualification: Romanian first-cycle university degree
- Level: Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework
- Theoretical education, laboratory activities and practical training
- University examinations and final graduation examination
The curriculum includes anatomy, physiology, microbiology, preventive dentistry, periodontology, dental prophylaxis, oral hygiene techniques, health education and clinical activities.
A EUROPEAN DEGREE STRUCTURE
The Romanian degree follows the fundamental structure established within the European Higher Education Area:
- 3 years of study;
- 180 ECTS credits;
- first-cycle university qualification;
- EQF Level 6;
- theoretical, practical and clinical education;
- professional preparation in dental hygiene and oral disease prevention.
The Romanian qualification has a specific national title, but its duration, academic level and number of credits correspond to the European first-cycle degree structure.
Thanks to the organisation of the programme, students can combine their studies with personal or professional commitments.
Attendance requirements may be agreed with the university in accordance with its official academic regulations.
Where authorised by the university, some theoretical examinations may be conducted online. Practical and clinical activities are completed at facilities approved or formally recognised by the university.

PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
Dental hygiene is a regulated healthcare profession in several European countries. To practise in another EU Member State, graduates must apply for recognition of their professional qualification to the competent authority of the country in which they intend to work.
The procedure is governed by Directive 2005/36/EC, as amended by Directive 2013/55/EU, on the recognition of professional qualifications within the European Union.
WHAT OUR ASSISTANCE INCLUDES

PROGRAMME COSTS
Vincix Futuro assistance service: €3,500 as a one-time fee, payable only once for the entire programme.
The fee includes the services specified in the contractual offer, including eligibility assessment, preparation of the academic file, assistance with translations and Apostille, enrolment support and administrative tutoring.
Personalised instalment plans are available.
University tuition fees: €3,000 for each academic year.
Tuition fees are paid directly to the university and may be paid in two annual instalments, according to the deadlines communicated by the university.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The following documents are generally required:
- upper-secondary school diploma;
- transcript of subjects and grades, where requested;
- copy of identity card or passport;
- copy of the applicant's tax identification document;
- birth certificate showing the parents' names;
- medical fitness certificate;
- passport-size photographs;
The final list of documents is confirmed following the candidate's preliminary assessment and may be supplemented according to the university's requirements.
